Richard Cundy
Richard M. Cundy was appointed the Representative for the Workers’ Compensation Fund (“Old Fund”) on January 23, 2006.
Mr. Cundy is presently the Actuary for the West Virginia Insurance Commission. Prior to starting that position in May 2002, Mr. Cundy was a vice president with Nationwide Insurance. He has worked in the insurance field for 30 years, starting his career as an actuarial trainee with Royal Insurance in 1976.
Mr. Cundy received a B.S. degree in mathematics and an M.S. degree in applied mathematics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (F.C.A.S.) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (M.A.A.A.).
