Patricia Hamilton
Patti Hamilton serves as one of two Committee Members representing the Public Employees' Retirement System
Ms. Hamilton has served as the Executive Director of the West Virginia Association of Counties since October, 1997. Her work experience includes several years as a high school teacher, a small business owner, and as a Utilities Analyst and legislative liaison for the WV Public Service Commission. Patti is a cum laude graduate of WVU and earned a master’s degree in Management/Public Administration from WV Graduate College. She merited the designation of Certified Association Executive by the American Society of Association Executives in 2001 and is a 1995 graduate of Leadership West Virginia. Collaborating with the WVU Institute for Public Affairs, she founded the Local Government Leadership Academy, a certification program for local government officials. Patti resides in Charleston and has three sons, two of whom are recent WVU graduates and one who is a WVU student.
